HR Manager (Manufacturing)-NC

Automotive manufacturing supplier has an immediate opening for an HR Manager in North Carolina. You'll be responsible for employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, employee recruiting & retention, workman's comp, EHS, and design & implementation of key HR initiatives to meet strategic business goals for an organization of 650+ employees at two locations. This is a highly visible position with 2 HR direct reports plus an EHS Specialist. Compensation for this position is 85-110K plus bonus. Relocation is available.

The right person for this position has at least 5 years management experience in a large manufacturing facility. Communication skills are key to fostering a team across multiple locations. You must be proactive, able to forsee potential problems & take actions to avoid them, and possess a high level of business acumen & diplomacy to provide counsel to all levels of staff & management on delicate issues.


  • Bachelors Degree/Masters preferred
  • 10+ years HR experience-automotive manufacturing experience a plus
  • Computer proficiencies-MS Office, Kronos, ADP, Taleo (ATS) and other HR systems helpful
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
